Bradford Lacefield Breaks WCHS Golf Record
⭐️ Bradford Lacefield Breaks WCHS Golf Record ⭐️
Records are meant to be broken, aren't they? ☺️🏌️♂️🐝🖤✨
Bradford Lacefield, senior, recently beat the record for the Woodford County High School Boys Golf Team for most career tournament wins. The record was set in 2007 by Mr. Joe Barr. The record is now held by Bradford Lacefield. He beat it a few weeks ago with twelve tournament wins, but over this past weekend, Bradford took home his thirteenth tournament win!
When asked how breaking this record made him feel, Bradford smiled and said, "It makes me feel good. It's a record that's been around for awhile, and it was set by a really good player, Joe Barr. He played at the University of Kentucky, and I get to follow in his footsteps. It's an honor to hold this record now."
Bradford is a humble, dedicated golfer who values his teammates, coaches, hard work, and the sport he loves. He puts in the necessary time and effort it takes to excel in golf, and he also puts in the time and effort it takes to care for and encourage his teammates. Way to go, Bradford! We are so proud of your accomplishments, but we are most proud of who you are as a person, a student, a golfer, and a leader on your team! 💛
Bradford also broke the record for being a state qualifier the most times. It was previously held by Mr. Barr at three times, and it now belongs to Bradford at four.
